Dynamic Photo Techniques and Creative Image Processing
Join Corey Hilz for an all-day workshop that includes an outdoor shooting session and classroom instruction on image processing.
The workshop begins with a morning session photographing around old town Bluffton. In the soft morning light, we will explore the photo opportunities among the historic homes and buildings. You will find charming scenes, as well as fascinating design details, from doors and windows to wrought ironwork. We will keep an eye toward creative uses of perspective and use visual design principles to create dynamic images. Throughout the photo shoot Corey will work with each participant on an individual level. Wear your favorite walking shoes.
The afternoon will be focused on powerful image processing to make your photos shine. Using both Lightroom and Photoshop, Corey will demonstrate his techniques for enhancing photographs, which include selective color and tone adjustments, intensifying details, and using local adjustments to highlight key elements. In addition, you will learn about the following creative techniques: texture blending, panoramas, focus stacking, and realistic HDR rendering.
