This tour will incorporate the many interesting buildings including a roundhouse that was built in 1855, we will also see the paint shop, mechanical shop, and a number of restored locomotives along with classic rail cars. Our carpool will leave Lowes at 8:30 for a 9:30 arrival at the museum. The cost of the tour will be $9.63. We will have lunch at the Crystal Beer Parlor at 301 West Jones St. 912-349-1000 and proceed to the Bonaventure Cemetery. The 160 acre cemetery has notable burials such as singer Johhny Mercer, Poet Conrad Aiken and the famous statue of six year old Gracie Watson.
